Fingerprint Financial Planning continues to go from strength to strength and as the business expands, our staff numbers do too. This is to ensure we can continue to deliver the level of customer service you’re used to.
Last month, we introduced you to Indy and in this latest update, we’re incredibly pleased to welcome Evelyn and Ivy to the Fingerprint team.
Evelyn will be joining us as a Junior Administrator, while Ivy will be supporting Helen as Assistant Relationship Manager.
Let’s meet them.
What do you understand about your new roles?
“My role involves general administrative tasks,” Evelyn explains.
“I’ll be maintaining meeting rooms; inputting data on to the system. It’s a junior position so there’s scope for gaining more knowledge and skills as I go, training on the job.
“I have previous office experience and data entry skills.”
Evelyn sees her role at Fingerprint as the highlight of her working life so far. “This has been my introduction to the financial industry, and the kick-start to my career. Everyone’s been so friendly and supportive and the ability to progress and learn is really important to me.”
“My favourite types of people to work with are team-oriented, optimistic, and visionary.”
Ivy meanwhile, describes her ideal colleagues as “Pragmatic, positive, and hard-working.” We like to think that they’ve both come to the right place.
Ivy has worked in a client-facing role for most of her career.
“Here at Fingerprint, I will be, alongside Helen, the first point of contact for clients. My job is to make sure we gather enough information about our clients to know how best we can help them. Then it’s just a matter of making sure they end up in front of the right person.”
“I’ve only been here a week, but I’m already settled in. Helen is a great teacher and has been very patient, putting up with all my questions!”
“Fingerprint genuinely helps people, whether it’s helping them to buy their first home or reassuring them that their family will be looked after when they’re gone.”
“The office is also in a great location – the middle of a historic dockyard. There are warships, and also a steam train that passes by my window several times a day. That certainly makes the day more interesting!”
Ivy’s proudest moment to date is delivering her master’s dissertation at a psychology seminar at Kingston University, London.
What about your passions and interests outside of work?
Evelyn and Ivy have a shared interest in travel.
“I am really interested in Korean culture and have slowly been teaching myself the language,” says Evelyn. “I hope to visit there one day!”
“I am also an avid festival and concert-goer. I try to go as often as possible, although for obvious reasons this year hasn’t been great for live music.”
Favourite gig? “Probably Green Day. I went to see them instead of going to my prom!”
“I also like going to the theatre, watching Netflix, and spending time with my friends and family. On an ideal weekend, you’d probably find me trying out a new café, shopping, and eating out.”
Ivy is also a keen traveller. “I’ve visited lots of different countries and really enjoy experiencing diverse cultures. My favourite places are probably Morocco or Skiathos, although on an ideal weekend you’d probably find me closer to home.”
I’ve had a horse since the age of ten. Bruno is now 36 so I really enjoy spending time with him. I also like picnics with my partner.”
