We’ve all felt the effects of the coronavirus pandemic in some way this year. It’s been a challenging time. As a business, you – the client – remain our priority.
To maintain the level of service you’ve come to expect and to surpass our own high standards, we have looked to expand the business.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Indy, the newest member of the Fingerprint team.
We are all very excited to be welcoming Indy aboard and are delighted that he has chosen to join us. Indy shares our vision, as well as our passion for providing clients with a top level of service and is certain to be a real asset to the team.
Let’s meet him.
Indy, what you can tell us about yourself?
“I’m married, with two young sons aged eleven and seven. A lot of my time is spent as a taxi service for them, ferrying them to football and sports matches.
“When I’m not doing that, I like to play football myself and I watch a lot of it too. I’m an Everton fan for my sins.
“Outside of sport, I play the bass guitar.”
And what about your working life?
“I’ve been in banking and insurance since 2006, working for HSBC and Citibank. I’m really excited about this new opportunity and looking forward to working at Fingerprint.
“A lot of firms will say they’re independent but with Fingerprint I know I’m entering a truly independent prospect.
“To be able to talk to clients, to understand their true needs, and offer solutions from a completely independent standpoint is something I’m really passionate about.”
“I can’t wait to get started.”
What three things do you most love about your job?
“I really enjoy meeting new people, receiving excellent feedback, and providing tailored solutions to my clients.
“That’s what I’m in the profession for and it’s really satisfying to be able to do it here.”
What are the three qualities that draw you to new people?
“Politeness, a good sense of humour. And people that are optimistic.”
What types of people do you most enjoy working with?
“Ambitious people. People that are willing to learn and accept the support they need to help them get where they want to be.”
What is your pet peeve?
“General rudeness.”
What is the best gift you’ve ever received?
“Tickets to Goodison Park for Duncan Ferguson’s testimonial match. It was a great event and a great day out.”
Who would be the three guests at your dream dinner party?
“Leonardo da Vinci. Nelson Mandela. Howard Kendall (an Everton legend as both a player and a manager).”
What is the proudest moment of your career?
“The proudest moment of my career has probably been getting through the challenges of the first half of this year.
Dealing with the pressures of lockdown – working fulltime, while homeschooling the boys – was difficult. It was a tough balance but we’re through it and we overcame all the challenges it threw at us.
“That makes me very proud.”
What three small things make your day better?
“My wife and my two boys.”
What’s the one thing that you’re most passionate about?
“Building good relationships with my clients.”
Where would we find you on an ideal weekend?
“Out on a day trip with my family.”
What is your favourite holiday destination?
“India. Probably somewhere up on the northeast side. It’s a very beautiful part of the world.”
What is your favourite song to play in the car?
“I’m most likely to have the radio on, probably Radio 2. I’ll be happily listening to whatever is playing.”
What was the first album you bought?
“Physical Presence, Level 42.”
If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?
“Jack Reacher.”
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic event and win a medal at it, what would that activity be?
“I’ve been doing a lot of DIY lately – I expect a lot of people have over the last few months of lockdown. So, probably painting.
“I’ve become very professional.”
When the dessert menu arrives, what are you looking for?
“A chocolate fudge cake.”
Indy starts with us on September 1st. We’re sure you’ll join us in welcoming Indy to the Fingerprint team, and in wishing him all the best for his career here.
