When we’re not working with you to deliver great financial planning services, we’re always busy behind the scenes.
To give you a glimpse of some of our activities, we’re bringing you a round-up of all the great things the Fingerprint team have been doing throughout the past 12 months.
Our refer-a-friend scheme raised hundreds for charity
We love working with you, and we hope you love working with us! If you’d like to recommend us to your friends and family, our “refer-a-friend” scheme is our way of saying thank you.
Once your referral has signed up, we’ll either give you a voucher of your choosing or you can donate to our chosen charity, Growing Hope Maidstone, and we’ll match the amount.
Growing Hope Maidstone offers free therapy for children and young people with additional needs living in the Maidstone area. It’s a fantastic local charity and a cause close to our hearts.
This year, we’ve given out lots of vouchers, and, thanks to your referrals, we’ve raised £1050 for this wonderful charity.
We also raised another £595 for the charity with our inflatable fun run, via donations from our JustGiving page.
Our sales manager, Jack, also went the extra mile – literally! – to raise money for charity, completing a 10k run in the beautiful Bedgebury Forest in Kent, in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Exam success, wellbeing accreditation, and doing our bit at The Historic Dockyard
Eve Woodward completed all her R0 exams this year and is now a fully qualified paraplanner. We’re incredibly proud of her achievement – well done Eve!
As our team grows and gains knowledge, it’s important to us that we look after our people. With this in mind, we’ve been working towards the Medway Workplace Wellbeing accreditation.
This year, we received our Bronze award, demonstrating we have the right frameworks in place to be a healthy workplace. We’ve now pledged to gain the Silver award in the new year.
We’ve also been busy at The Historic Dockyard Chatham. Jack, along with our principal partner, Paul Spencer-Nixon, gave a talk on finance to the staff and tenants there.
Paul and client relationship manager Nikki Bynum were then given the high honour of winding the clock in the Clocktower Building, the oldest surviving naval storehouse in any royal dockyard.
They also learned to drive a historic D-Day diesel locomotive, WD 42 “Overlord”.
These were amazing experiences, and we know they wouldn’t have been possible if our office weren’t located in the incredible surroundings of The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
